Thermomix TM31
The penultimate model to hit the market, it was released for 980 euros. It arrived in Spain in September 2004, the year it included the Varoma container accessory, which is placed on the lid and allows for steam cooking.
The big difference from the previous model was in the bowl, wider and shorter, with more capacity. Also, the new blade design, which included left and right rotation to not cut food, spoon speed, and a temperature of 37º.
Thermomix TM5
Born in September 2014 at a price of 1,100€, with quite a few changes compared to the TM31: bowl with slightly more capacity, digital book, screen showing the necessary ingredients and the moment they should be introduced, maximum temperature of 120º, color digital screen...
Later came the possibility of acquiring the Cook Key to connect to the internet.
The heads of Vorwerk naturally claim that it is the best Thermomix to date and that it will be a while before another model is released given the advanced technology it incorporates.

The new Thermomix TM5 differs from the TM31 mainly in that it incorporates technology that allows for greater versatility and performance.
The controls have moved from manual to touch thanks to an advanced full-color screen. The capacity of the bowl has increased by 200 cl and the measuring cup and spatula are more manageable, the butterfly is easier to assemble, more secure and automatic closure, with the scale being more precise; it even allows weighing while cooking. It also has an end-of-cooking sound alert.
Furthermore, the new Thermomix has more speed levels than the TM31 and higher temperatures.
